La Bergerie is a beautifully restored luxury gite accommodation in the historical village of Verteuil sur Charente, known for its magnificent chateau and picturesque riverside setting;  it is officially one of the prettiest villages in the sunny Poitou-Charentes region. 

The property, formally a shepherds dwelling, has been recently renovated, by ourselves, into a very comfortable and spacious 3-bedroom self-catering holiday cottage for up to 6 people.  We are located on the edge of the village so you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside, but are just a short walk away from the village shops.
